Flowers as such are one of the most beautiful aspects of nature. And roses, especially, hold a special place in most people's lives. But did you know of the so many more ways that roses could impress you with? Here are some of them. Plus who wouldn't like to benefit from their silky soft texture and mesmerising fragrance. So here you go:

1. ROSE, EGG & HONEY FACE MASK/ FIGHTS AGEING

Mix one egg white, a teaspoonful of honey and a few crushed rose petals in a bowl. Apply the mixture on your face and neck, and leave it to dry. Wash off with cold water.

2. FLORAL BATH SOAK/ SOOTHES BODY & MIND

Combine three cups each of Himalayan pink salt and Epsom salt, a cup of baking soda, two cups of rose petals, half a teaspoonful of rose oil and a few drops of glycerine. Add this to a warm bath and soak away your woes.

3. ROSE, OATS & SEA SALT BODY POLISH/ SMOOTHENS SKIN

Combine a cup of rose petals, a teaspoonful each of sea salt and cornmeal with one-fourth cup each of rolled oats and buttermilk powder. Blend these to a fine paste by adding olive oil. Gently rub the mixture all over your body
and wash off with lukewarm water.

4. ROSE & ALMOND OIL/ PROMOTES HAIR GROWTH

Boil three cups of water and add five drops of almond oil and a handful of rose petals. Boil on a low flame for 20 minutes. Strain the liquid and cool. Gently massage your scalp with the oil and leave overnight.

5. ROSE, ORANGE PEEL & HONEY SCRUB/ REMOVES DEAD SKIN

In a bowl, combine two teaspoonsful each of dried orange peel powder and honey. Add crushed rose petals to
the paste and mix well. Gently apply the scrub to your face and neck, and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

6. ROSE, LIME & MINT FOOT SOAK/ SOFTENS FEET

In a large bowl full of warm water, add one cup each of Epsom salt and rose petals, a few mint leaves, one tablespoonful of lemon juice and a few drops of sweet almond oil. Soak your feet in the mixture for 20 minutes.

7. ROSE & HONEY DRINK/ AIDS WEIGHT LOSS

Boil a handful of rose petals in two cups of water for five minutes. Strain the liquid, add a teaspoonful of honey
and drink hot.
